Common Name(s) | Pin Sida |
Family | Malvaceae |
Prostrate forb, often very low, sometimes a shrub attaining one metre.
Sida fibulifera is of great interest to us for mining rehabilitation work because it produces collectable seed and is distributed widely in Queensland through both coal and metals mining districts. As a prostrate shrub it occupies a class of flora which are desperately needed for this purpose. More information will be forthcoming on this page in time.
All Australian mainland states although absent from coastal and subcoastal New South Wales and Victoria.
