Notelea microcarpa fruit can be harvested and dried for use in direct sowing operations. The trees produce heavy crops and collections are very efficient.
From east of Goulburn, New South Wales, north to Coen in Far North Queensland. Also occurring in the northern most parts of the Northern Territory. Spreads out west across semi-arid areas. Some examples of western extremes are Tambo and Croyden in Queensland and Warrumbungle National Park, NSW.
