Common Name(s) | Yellow-Wood |
Family | Rutaceae |
An attractive, often tall tree, of dry and subtropical rainforest. To 45m high.
Usually only required for propagation in nurseries. Despite its eventual height, Flindersia xanthoxyla can be approached for seed collection on laterite, within regrowth on open lands, where annual rainfall is about 650mm. Here, it produces seed for many years as a smaller tree before achieving any great height. This taxon occurs about 70km further west than its recorded range.
