"Tree 6–20 m high. Bark peeling in small curved flakes similar to ‘Minni Ritchi’ species." (WorldWideWattle ver. 2)
Acacia rhodoxylon, well known as Rosewood, is often seen on very poor ridges and the bark is helpful in its identification. Its hard, durable timber has a significant reputation (see TTIT link below). The seed is almost never collected owing to its seldom flower and fruiting events. Nonetheless it is often requested by mines for rehabilitation.
"Grows in woodland, eucalypt woodland or eucalypt forest." (WorldWideWattle ver. 2)
"Occurs in coastal and subcoastal parts of central Qld, from near Eidsvold N to SE of Mount Garnett." (WorldWideWattle ver. 2)
