We have recorded Acacia polifolia, north of Biloela, Qld, in a Eucalyptus moluccana and Corymbia citriodora woodland in close proximity to Acacia decora and Acacia pedleyi on sandy loam derived from sandstone. The seed was of interest to the local coal mine where extensive rehabilitation works were underway. The taxon has a relatively restricted distribution and often occurs in major National Parks.
