Description

We have collected seed samples from Acacia hyaloneura from Torrens Creek where it grows in small groups on colluvium. It was also visible north east from here on the Warang Sandstone. It has a straight pod from 4.5 to 12.5cm long. The seed has a long straight funicle along one side. Acacia whitei from north west of Townsville may have a similar general appearance.
