Description

Notes

"Grows in skeletal sandy soils and red earths, on laterite, sandstone or calcrete, on rocky hillsides or in gorges, often along creeks with eucalypts and spinifex. Flowers all the year." (WorldWideWattle ver. 2)

Acacia acradenia is easily collected into bins as the seed dries and is moderately productive with no great cleaning issues. The seed can be pre-cleaned in the field because it releases the seed easily. Around Mount Isa it may be found with Acacia colei, Acacia elachantha, Acacia holosericea, Acacia tenuissima, Acacia retivenea susbp. retivenea and others.
